Initially based around the structure of an artists easel, the work has grown into a collection comprising table lamps, floor lamps and wall mounted lamps, as well as a selection of hand painted steel pendant lights.

Combining an Art Deco and Bauhaus aesthetic and colour palate with ideas of geometry, symmetry and simplicity, the resulting objects are both playful and useful, and all evoke familiar forms, at once both animal and industrial.

Utilising woods including oak, beech and teak, combined with steel, brass and chrome, each piece has an inner character that is further enhanced by the odd juxtapositions of materials.
Standing at unusual angles and in strange positions, often with knuckles or other joints, they call to mind animals and insects, strange but friendly beasts.
